As a doctor, you always dream of handling an emergency in the swiftest way, saving the day and becoming a hero. Yet when you face it, you wish your suspicion and diagnosis be wrong, and everyone just makes it out alive! That is the only thought that ran across my mind that moment.

There was a patient. There was a Doctor. The patient died. Then, the Doctor died. The patient died of the stroke inside the head. The Doctor died of a stroke outside his head. Hilarious… I bet it is!!

She boasted of being a doctor and the lady had presented as a patient, yet today, they reeled on the same boat – a boat of hopelessness and helplessness…. carrying a whole nation.

When every morning, one is met with headlines of staggering statistics attached with a heart wrenching photo of a patient with oxygen mask, one wonders what has it come to… when did this happen. Certainly, the times are tougher but patients have always been there… they have always been at the receiving end emotionally, physically and financially.
They have always been… the usual victims!!
